Since its development by the American shipbuilding company Bethlehem Steel in the 1970s, Galvalume Steel has demonstrated outstanding performance due to its unique coating composition - 55% aluminum, 43.4% zinc, 1.6% silicon and a small amount of trace elements. The corrosion resistance of this kind of steel is three times that of pure zinc coating and it can remain durable for a long time in harsh environments. Its surface is smooth, with a silver-gray color and regular bright spots. It is not only aesthetically pleasing but also has good heat resistance and high thermal reflectivity. It can be used for a long time in a high-temperature environment of 315℃, and its thermal reflectivity is greater than 0.70. It is an ideal material for building roofs. In addition, Galvalume Steel has excellent adhesion and can be directly used for coating. It is often used as the base plate for color-coated steel sheets. In the field of construction, Galvalume Steel is widely used, from the roofs and walls of civil buildings to large factories of industrial buildings. In the automotive industry, this material is also commonly used in components such as mufflers and exhaust pipes of cars. ​
Galvanized Steel prevents rusting by galvanizing the surface of steel, with hot-dip galvanizing being the most commonly used method. This process enables zinc to form a tight zinc-iron alloy layer on the surface of steel, effectively blocking corrosive elements. Galvanized steel has the advantages of low cost and good processability, and can be widely used in agriculture, construction, automobiles and other industries. Prepainted Steel is a product that has undergone coating treatment on a metal substrate.
