From Anti-corrosion to Aesthetics: How Are Six Major Metal Materials Driving a Sustainable Building Revolution?

With the surging demand for high-performance and environmentally friendly metal materials in the global construction and manufacturing industries, Galvalume Steel, with its revolutionary technology of 55% aluminum-zinc alloy coating, has become the preferred choice for industrial plants and logistics warehouses. Its corrosion resistance is more than four times that of traditional galvanized sheets, and it also has excellent heat resistance (able to withstand a long-term temperature of 315℃), providing a reliable solution for applications in harsh environments.

Meanwhile, Galvanized Steel continues to dominate areas such as building structures and transportation facilities, thanks to its mature anti-corrosion performance and cost advantage. The introduction of the latest environmentally friendly chromium-free passivation process has further enhanced its sustainability and met the global RoHS and REACH standards.

Under the trend of lightweighting, Aluminum Coil/Pipe/Plate, with its excellent strength-to-weight ratio and 100% recyclability, has become the core material for new energy vehicles, photovoltaic brackets and modern curtain walls. The wide application of 3003/5052 series aluminum alloys has promoted the rapid development of green buildings and low-carbon manufacturing.

Stainless Steel continuously innovates in the fields of high-end architecture and industry. 316L molybdenum-containing stainless steel demonstrates outstanding resistance to chloride ion corrosion in coastal projects, while antibacterial grade 304 stainless steel has become the preferred choice for medical facilities.

With its unique alloy structure, Aluzinc Steel has an anti-corrosion performance six times that of galvanized sheets and a solar reflectivity of 83%, contributing to the development of energy-efficient buildings.

Prepainted Steel, through PVDF fluorocarbon coating technology, achieves a 20-year color fidelity and is widely used in commercial building curtain walls and high-end home appliances, reducing on-site construction waste by more than 30%.
